Advent Introduces WealthLine for Web-based Wealth Management; Joins with Microsoft to Enable Collaboration Between Financial Advisors and Investors
San Francisco, November 12, 2001 - Advent Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADVS) announces the launch of WealthLineSM, an innovative wealth management service that will enable financial institutions to collaborate with their clients, gather more assets, and greatly enhance customer relationship management. WealthLine will enable easier and more meaningful communication between advisors and their investor clients, and will deliver unparalleled value to firms who wish to offer their clients sophisticated web-based tools to bridge communication between advisors and investors.
Advent is teaming with Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) to deliver WealthLine, which will feature Microsoft’s essential collaboration tools, combined with secure document publishing, portfolio reporting and financial content from the award-winning MSN Money personal finance site. Together the two companies will bring a robust Web service that delivers a dynamic, information-rich experience for the investor, and a highly automated, easy-to-use communication tool for the advisor.
WealthLine integrates investment data and financial reports from Advent’s software applications and Advent TrustedNetworkSM data service with codename “MSN Money Professional,” Microsoft’s Web-based customer communications service built for professional financial advisors. By integrating Advent’s wealth management solutions with “MSN Money Professional,” WealthLine delivers comprehensive financial advice, consolidated investment reports from multiple institutions, and other information to their clients through a private labeled, secure web site.
WealthLine will provide firms with a state-of-the-art investor-facing website that will be private labeled for each firm. It features 15-minute delayed pricing and gain/loss analysis; the ability to graph and research portfolio holdings; sorting and viewing of data in a variety of ways; market news and information; feeds from clients’ checking, savings and credit card accounts; secure login and authentication; site administration tools; automated generation and upload of information to the site; and additional customization tools.
