Advent’s WealthLine Available in General Release
San Francisco, CA, , October 28, 2002 - Advent Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADVS) announces that its WealthLineSM solution, a web-based wealth management service that enables financial advisors to collaborate with their clients, gather more assets, and greatly enhance customer relationships, is available in general release. During its early rollout, numerous firms including Cardinal International, AMG Guaranty Trust, N.A., Retirement Capital Advisors, Inc. and SOL Capital Management Company have adopted WealthLine in their business.
“WealthLine is answering the needs of today’s financial professionals, who are catering to high net-worth investors with a variety of needs and interested parties. And an essential part of wealth management is excellent client service. Through innovations in operational efficiencies WealthLine offers our clients a very efficient and cost-effective communications tool to better target this market segment, and to ultimately enhance the level of service they provide to their clients,” said Brian Bailard, Vice President of Advent.
“Our clients are becoming more sophisticated, and so are their needs. With WealthLine we are able to deliver on-demand, real-time reporting to our clients,” said Bridgette Nicole Skeete, Vice President Information Systems, Fund Services Department at Cardinal International. “It is also very important to us that we are consistent with our promise of providing secure information to our clients.”
WealthLine integrates investment data and financial reports from Advent’s software applications and Advent TrustedNetwork® data service with MSN Money Professional, Microsoft’s Web-based advisor-investor communications service. By integrating Advent’s wealth management solutions with MSN Money Professional, WealthLine allows financial professionals to deliver comprehensive financial advice, consolidated investment reports from multiple institutions, and other information to their clients through a personalized, private labeled, secure web site.
“The feedback we receive from our clients about this service is very positive,” continued Ms. Skeete from Cardinal International. “With WealthLine we’ve been able to implement a turn-key solution that helps us move away from all the clutter involved in manual delivery methods.”
WealthLine is a unique solution that allows professional financial advisors to offer their clients a superior level of service and a higher level of “touch” through automated document and report sharing over the web. With WealthLine, advisors can easily share such information as performance reports, financial plans, tax documents, wills and trusts with their clients, in addition to their clients’ family members and professionally interested parties, such as lawyers or accountants. WealthLine delivers to financial advisors the technology and tools to raise their level of advice and service.
“Microsoft and Advent joined forces last November to create a collaborative environment for the investor and the advisor through useful and relevant technologies,” said Paul Dillon, Director of Financial Technologies at Microsoft. “With today’s WealthLine release, Advent delivers the key to helping advisory firms better serve their clients, and in turn, rise above the competition.”
