Partnership Overview
Investment managers are tapped monthly and quarterly by institutional consultants to provide account-specific performance data for their joint clients, institutional investors. Consultants use this data for performance reconciliation and in their reporting to these institutional investors. Until recently, there was no standard for data requests from, and data submission to, consultants. Investment managers dealt with a myriad of different data formats and methods, manually entering account-level performance, market values and cash flow data and tracking the data submission status to each consultant, all tedious tasks.

InvestorForce COLLECT™ changed all that. COLLECT™, a web-based platform, provides a standard for account-level data submission across all investment managers and consultants and a real-time dashboard to monitor consultants’ request status and fulfillment. A single, common format is used to communicate account-level performance data securely between managers and consultants.

Via this partnership, Advent and InvestorForce have developed a data integration component that will allow users of Advent’s AXYS and APX portfolio account systems to easily connect their systems to InvestorForce COLLECT™, enabling the seamless transfer of account-specific performance data and eliminating the highly manual and inefficient process by which investment managers communicate this data today.

With the Advent-InvestorForce COLLECT™ data integration feature, investment managers can comply with each investment consultant’s requests for information in a standard, automated fashion. In return, institutional consultants can expect more timely and accurate data submission from investment managers. This partnership will bring significant workflow benefits to both investment managers and consultants.
