Advent’s relationship with Interactive Data Corporation spans four major businesses:

  • Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data: Supplying global securities pricing, evaluations, and reference data for more than 6 million securities, including daily evaluations for approximately 2.8 million fixed income and international equity issues.
  • Interactive Data Fixed Income Analytics: Providing fixed income portfolio analytics in North America and Europe.
  • Interactive Data’s desktop solutions business: Offering global, real-time market data and decision support tools to active investors and professionals worldwide.
  • Interactive Data Real-Time Services: Providing real-time global market data and managed solutions to financial institutions, redistributors, and online financial portals worldwide. Through these relationships, we have developed seamless integration across many of our products, including Axys®, Advent Portfolio Exchange® (APX), Moxy®, and Geneva®.

Axys
Advent's interface with Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data's DATAFEED™ service enables Axys users to automatically download security prices, descriptive data, dividends, splits, and other valuable information. Data is delivered directly into Axys, saving time, improving accounting accuracy, and promoting better client service.

For clients who manage fixed income, integration is also available between Axys and Interactive Data Fixed Income Analytics. This seamless integration allows users to transmit their portfolio holdings from Axys into the BondEdge® product, where they can utilize robust analytic and risk management tools and have access to the latest modeling techniques and cutting edge research.

Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX)
APX leverages tight integration with Advent’s Market Data Manager to connect to Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data’s RemotePlus™ service. Through Market Data Manager, APX users receive extensive data coverage and fast, high quality updates of security prices, descriptive data, dividends, splits, and other valuable information.

For clients who manage fixed income, integration is also available between APX and Interactive Data Fixed Income Analytics. This seamless integration allows users to transmit their portfolio holdings from APX into the BondEdge® product, where they can utilize robust analytic and risk management tools and have access to the latest modeling techniques and cutting edge research.

Moxy
Advent’s interface with pricing date from Interactive Data enables Moxy users to automatically retrieve real-time data for U.S. equities for viewing real-time portfolio profit and loss. For descriptive data, Advent’s Market Data Manager pulls security data directly from Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data’s Remote Plus™ service for fast, high quality data updates. The service is available in an on-demand or end of day batch mode.

Geneva
Advent’s interface with Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data’s RemotePlus™ provides a direct datafeed, allowing users to access prices, ex dates, shares-outstanding, corporate actions, splits, dividends, and security master information seamlessly into Geneva. With the Geneva-Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data integration, users can save time and money because they don’t have to build and maintain a data warehouse.
