Advent Expands Trading Integration Options for Moxy® Clients

SAN FRANCISCO – May 6, 2008 – Advent Software, Inc., (NASDAQ: ADVS), the award-winning provider of software and solutions for the global investment management industry, today announced that it will be expanding trading integration options for its Moxy® clients.  With over 800 clients, Moxy®, Advent’s trade order management system (OMS), is the most widely used OMS in the industry.

Advent’s expanded integration and connectivity strategy will give customers greater access to liquidity venues and offer broader integration and simplified workflow with execution management system (EMS) providers, while continuing to add to the existing critical trading tools such as algorithmic trading strategies in Moxy®.

Advent has an existing, successful relationship with leading dark pool provider, Liquidnet, which Moxy® customers are leveraging to access dark pool liquidity.  Based on the success of the Liquidnet relationship, Advent plans to announce that it has entered into additional integration agreements with dark pool providers to augment dark pool access for Moxy® users, expanding traders’ access to the liquidity and tools necessary for effective and efficient trade management.

Advent is also responding to customer needs with enhanced integration to EMS vendors.  Advent currently offers integration with many of the top EMS vendors, including RediPlus, RealTick and several others using industry standard FIX connectivity.  The recent release of Moxy® 6.0 delivered greater support for industry-standard, FIX-based staging and drop copy work flow, along with user customizable FIX messages, all of which are engineered to facilitate improved EMS integration.

Advent’s partnerships and connectivity strategy complement its current offering of certified connectivity via the SunGard Transaction Network (STN), which gives Moxy® clients access to over 250 broker dealers.
